Telecalling software for PC · the honest split

Run the team on a computer. Make the calls on a phone.

Telecalling Software for PC: installs as a desktop app, dials by phone.

Most pages that promise telecalling software for PC mean a dashboard, and then let you find out later that the dialling is on a phone. This one says which half is which up front, and why moving the calls to a desktop would cost you the thing that makes them get answered: the SIM your customer will recognise.

Telecalling Software team reports, the view a manager reads in a browser on a PC

Is there telecalling software for PC?

Telecalling software for PC usually means one of two things, and Telecalling Software keeps them separate. The manager's side, the leads, the assignment and the reports, genuinely runs on a computer: Telecalling Software opens in any browser on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS, and the browser will install it so it gets a desktop icon and its own window rather than living in a tab. The calling itself does not move to the PC, because the call leaves the SIM inside a caller's Android handset, which is what makes the customer see a familiar mobile number. So the honest answer is a computer for running the team, a phone for making the calls.

Telecalling software for PC features

Everything a manager does, on a screen big enough to do it.

02 · On the phoneBecause the call needs a SIM

Telecalling software for PC limits

Four things a computer cannot take over. These stay on the handset for one reason: that is where the SIM is, and the SIM is what puts a familiar mobile number on your customer's screen.

What the caller sees, screen by screen
  • Placing the callThe call goes out on the SIM in the handset, which is what gets it answered. A computer has no SIM, and a call from a browser would arrive as a virtual number.
  • The auto dialerSequential dialling through a list happens on the phone, because each call is a real call on that handset.
  • The after-call sheetThe outcome, the note and the next date are taken in two taps as the call ends, on the device that made it.
  • Automatic WhatsAppThe message goes from the caller's own WhatsApp on the same phone, the moment the call finishes.
03 · Why not just dial from the desktop
  1. Because a PC has no SIM

Making a call from a desktop means sending voice over the internet through a virtual number. That is a different product with different economics: a per-minute bill, a number to rent, and a caller ID your customer does not recognise.

  2. Because pick-up rate decides the day

An ordinary mobile number gets answered by people who ignore an unfamiliar landline. Moving the dialling to a computer would trade the one advantage that produces conversations for the convenience of a bigger keyboard.

  3. Because the record should be where the call is

When the app is the phone app, the lead opens with the incoming call and the outcome is taken before the caller moves on. Split that across two machines and somebody has to remember to type it up later, which is where the notes stop happening.

If dialling from a desktop is genuinely what your team needs, say for an inbound support floor that wants call queues, recordings and an IVR, then a cloud contact centre is the right tool and we are not it. That is a different product, not a cheaper version of this one.

Telecalling software for PC FAQ

Is there telecalling software for PC?

Partly, and it is worth knowing which part. Telecalling Software runs in any browser on a computer for everything a manager does: leads, assignment, imports, clients and live reports. The dialling runs on an Android phone, because the call goes out on that handset's SIM. A team gets both, on the same account, for the same price.

Can I make calls from my computer?

Not with this product. Calls are placed through the SIM in the caller's handset, which is the reason the person being called sees a familiar mobile number and the reason there is no per-minute charge. Software that dials from a desktop routes the call over the internet through a virtual number instead, which is a different kind of product.

Do I need to install anything on Windows?

You can, and it is worth doing, but not from a downloaded file. The dashboard is a progressive web app, so when you open it in Chrome or Edge the browser offers to install it: accept, and it gets a Start menu entry, a desktop icon and its own window with no tabs around it, exactly like a program. There is no .exe or .msi to download. It is the browser installing the dashboard, so it updates itself and cannot go stale. No admin rights are needed, and the same works on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. If you would rather not install it, the same dashboard runs in an ordinary browser tab.

What is the difference between the PC dashboard and the phone app?

They are two views of one account. The phone is where calling happens: the dialer, the queue, the after-call sheet and WhatsApp. The computer is where the team is run: assigning leads, importing, filtering a long list, watching reports and handling clients and renewals. Everything syncs, so a lead assigned on a laptop is on the caller's phone in seconds.

Does the manager need a phone too?

Only if they also call. A manager who assigns work and reads reports needs a browser and nothing else. A team leader who calls as well as manages usually keeps the app on their phone and the dashboard open on a laptop at the same time.

Is a manager on the dashboard counted as a paid user?

Yes. A user is one login, whether it is a caller on the app or a manager in a browser. A team of eight callers and one manager is nine users at ₹161 each per month on yearly billing.

Can callers work from a laptop with a headset?

Not for the calls. A headset plugged into a laptop needs internet voice, which this product does not use. The common setup is a caller with a headset plugged into their phone and the lead list open on a screen in front of them, which gets the same comfort without losing the mobile caller ID.

Can I use an Android emulator on my PC to dial?

You can install the app in an emulator and see the interface, but it will not place calls: an emulator has no SIM and no mobile radio. Teams sometimes do it to demonstrate the app on a projector. For real calling the app needs to be on a handset.

Does the browser dashboard work on a tablet?

Yes, and on a phone browser too. It is a responsive website, so an owner can check the day's numbers from an iPad or from their phone without installing the caller app at all.

What browsers are supported?

Any current browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Nothing needs a plugin, and there is no minimum screen size, though a long lead list is far easier to work through on a laptop screen than a small one.

Can two people use the dashboard at the same time?

Yes. Each person signs in with their own login and sees what their permissions allow, so an owner and a team leader can both be in it while the callers work. Changes appear for everyone without a refresh.

Is there a native Windows app coming?

There is no plan for a separately downloaded one, because the installable dashboard already gives you what a desktop app would: an icon, its own window and a program that starts without opening a browser first. The difference is that it updates itself and can never go stale on somebody's machine. The one thing no Windows build could add is calling from the PC, since that needs a SIM.

What is the best calling software for PC?

If you mean software that dials from the computer itself, that is cloud calling: the call runs over the internet through a virtual number, with per-minute billing. If you mean running a calling team from a PC, the best answer is a browser dashboard paired with SIM dialling on the phones, which keeps the familiar caller ID and costs nothing per minute.

Can I use telecalling software for PC without buying phones?

Only for the manager's half. The dashboard runs on the computers you already have, but somebody has to make the calls from a handset with a SIM, and that is usually the phone a caller already owns. Most teams start with no hardware purchase at all.

How many people can use the PC dashboard at once?

As many as have logins, each seeing what their permissions allow. An owner, a team leader and an accounts person can all be in it simultaneously while the callers work, and changes appear for everyone without anybody refreshing.
